Come back soon to catch a glimpse of our staff photos and learn more about all of them and their love of animals! For now, get acquainted with some of us!
Billie Piper: I began working at Broadmore Kennels in 2010 at the main building (BK1). In the summer of 2012, I moved to the small breed building (BK2) and have been there ever since. I love all animals and so this is the perfect fit for me! When I am not at work, I am at home taking care of my four wonderful fur babies. I have beautiful Roxy (a pit bull), handsome Herck (a Jack Russell Terrier), dashing Dylan (a chihuahua) and sassy Miss Scarlet (a very, um ...let's call her fluffy and cute; kitty cat!). I also love to do crafts and crochet and enjoy making things for friends and family. I am a proud aunt and like to spend time with my nieces and nephews whenever my schedule allows it. You can rest easy knowing that your pets are getting lots of love, attention, exercise and care when they stay with me at Broadmore Kennels.
Cynthia Resig, Groomer: Howdy! Aside from being the crazy dog lady, I love to get out and experience the world. I participate in the Kansas City Renaissance Festival as anything from colorful gypsy to an armorer, making chainmail and blacksmithing. IN he summertime, my weekends are spent on a civil war battlefield reenacting Dr. Mary Edwards Walker. I love sampling foods from all over the world and have even had fish and chips while siting in the Queen’s teahouse in London! I am a complete history nut (could you tell?) and am currently enrolled in school to teach history. At home, my three knuckleheads Finnegan (bulldog), Layla (pug), and Moose (Heinz 57) keep me as entertained as ever and always on my toes. I have been grooming doges for six years, and am familiar with all breeds and styles. I began my grooming career in 2008 and came to work for Broadmore Kennels in 2012. I have trained under two different Nationally Certified Master Stylists (fancy, eh??). If you have any special requests for your pet’s groom, I am more than happy to accommodate those as well as answer any questions you may have. I believe that the relationship between your pet and their groomer is very important, which is why I do my best to provide a personable experience for you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your baby soon!
Megan Wright: I have been working at Broadmore Kennels since June 2013. I started at the main building and now work at the small breed facility. When I am not at work, I am very busy at home taking careof my one year old son, Carson, and my miniature American Eskimo, Dubby. I have always loved spending time with animals, so when I heard of Broadmore Kennels, I knew it would be the perfect job for me! I have so much fun with the dogs here and I love getting to know all of their personalities!
